There is a full-fledged Building construction and maintenance wing headed by 3 site engineers, with 17 numbers of Assistant Engineers, Supervisors and workmen, in all, numbering 20. Their responsibilities include periodical maintenance of the buildings, apart from planning and construction of new buildings or extensions.

All the individual departments have adequate number of LCD projectors and OHPs. These are under regular service contracts and periodical inspection is carried out by suppliers.
Green campus
The College has been awarded the ‘Clean and Green Campus’ by the Rotary Club of Chennapatna for the very clean, green and beautiful campus providing an excellent ambience for learning.
The college has a landscape
consultant, garden supervisors, a large number of gardeners and a comprehensive set of garden equipment. The entire campus has landscaping with green grass, ornamental plants, and shady trees making the campus
very green and beautiful. The college was adjudged by the Rotary Club of Chennai as the Most Green & Clean Campus in the year 2003. The college is very proud of this green and pollution-free ambience which has
been conducive to a good educational ambience.
Extensive water-harvesting activity has been undertaken at various parts of the campus, resulting in very high ground-water levels.
Use of in-organic fertilizers
has been dispensed with and organic farming is being adopted for the kitchen gardens in the campus. Recycling of waste water has been undertaken to reuse the water from bathrooms and kitchen cleaning areas for
gardening purposes.
The college has an energy park, set up with funding from TEDA, which use solar energy for pumping and some lighting. It is planned to go in for solar water heater for the hostels.
Computing facilities
Library
The list of books stored in the database is upgraded regularly. The library has a collection of books covering the areas like Tamil literary books, biographies, spiritual books, motivating text, collection of poems, novels, general knowledge books etc. The students are also permitted to refer various books between 3 pm to 5 pm.
The Library consists of 12369 volumes with 4192 titles at present. It reserves rooms for national and international journals and magazines. Of them, 12 are national journals, and 10 are magazines.
A sum of Rs. 23.33 Lakhs has been invested towards the library welfare fund.

Hostel
Boys Hostel
The college has comprehensive hostel facilities for the students. Exclusively, three blocks are provided for men, accommodating more than 1000 students.Girls Hostel
The college has separate hostel for women. Exclusively, three blocks for women, in all accommodating more than 400 students are provided. The girls hostel has Shuttle courts, Table tennis and a shop to facilitate the students. The hostel blocks also have STD facilityDining and Health Care
A Sound body is essential for a sound mind.The hostel is annexed with a kitchen, to provide food at protected and hygienic environment along with dining halls, which can accommodate more than 1000 students at a time. Healthy and nutritive food is served. The hostel kitchen has facilities for steam cooking with gas stoves. There are three dining halls covering an area of about 750 sq.m for accommodating large number of students at a time. Physical fitness has been given utmost importance. The college hostel facility is equipped with an air-conditioned gymnasium with a state-of-the-art equipment especially for men. Moreover, the Boys Hostel is annexed with a full-fledged air-conditioned hair grooming centre. A separate gymnasium for women is also annexed with the Girls Hostel. The Girls Hostel has a full-fledged air conditioned Beauty Parlor attached to it. A clinic, with a few beds along with on call Doctor facility for 24 Hours to take care of the health requirements of the hostel students, is also made available.
Hospital
We have a clinic with the full time doctor and a dispensary with two beds.
Also we have two ambulance vans available for service.
A medical shop is kept opened till 9.30 p.m.
